“Vegan is the most sustainable option,
and no one has to die for it”
Why VeganAs a cruelty-free brand we believe that neither the environment nor animals should be victims of humans' way of living. Animals are individuals with their own needs and desires. They experience joy, pain, devotion, and fear. But in animal agriculture, they’re raised for human purposes and treated like objects, with the intention of selling them for slaughter.
In addition to causing the suffering and deaths of billions of animals each year, the production of animal-derived materials is one of the biggest causes of climate change. Producing and purchasing animal hair and skins helps the animal agriculture and meat industry to remain solvent, contributing to the cruelties of the business as well as greenhouse gases.
Globally, animal agriculture is responsible for more greenhouse gases than all the world’s transportation systems combined and is also a leading cause of rainforest destruction. Other factors include the toxic chemicals needed to keep animal derived materials from decaying and the enormous amount of water used in the industry. Consequently, choosing vegan fabrics, even if they include synthetics, are the more sustainable choice, and nobody has to die for it.
